Atike Hanim Anadolu Lisesi-Hendek-Sakarya-Turkey, officially invited our institution's teachers to the first Erasmus+ transnational meeting.
This meeting was held in Hendek, Sakarya, Turkey between 21st-25th of November, 2017
Tuesday 21st
We all arrived in Sakarya, Turkey. The host Organization managed to pick us up and get to the Hotel.
Wednesday 22nd
We were picked up from the Hotel and got to the School for first time. There we were introduced and attended presentations about Turkey, Hendek, Sakarya and Turkey Educational System. Every partner gave a presentation about their countries, schools and educational systems. We visited several classes and enjoyed a wonderful music recital prepared by Turkish students.
We also visited District Directorate of National Education and District Governorship. Finally, we had dinner in Altindere, a stunning village famous for its fish and impressive landscape.
Tursday 23rd
Time to discuss about project details. First of all, our Turkish coordinator, remind us the objectives, tasks, activities, responsibilities and mobilities planned in this project. We reached an agreement about activities and responsibilities for every partner, as well as mobility schedule.
Friday 24th
Breakfast at Sabanci teacher’s house. Back to Istanbul, we visited Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Spice Bazaar and all the most important places in Istanbul. And then, to top it all, we went on a tour through the Bosphorus.
Saturday 25th
We left Turkey with a wonderful impression. We have a lot of work to do, but definitively, we got off to a good start.
